KREAM's Fashion Brand AKRYL Unveils 26FW Campaign Featuring Model KAI

Software1 min read

KREAM, a resale platform for limited-edition sneakers and fashion, has launched its first main fall/winter collection under its own fashion brand, AKRYL. Model KAI appears in the campaign photos, which were shown through GQ magazine.

AKRYL launches its first fall/winter collection

AKRYL is a fashion brand made by KREAM and Japanese creative director Yo Tanaka. It mixes vintage designs with a modern style. The brand first showed a pre-collection in July 2026. Now it has released its first main collection for the fall and winter season, with a focus on outerwear (heavy outer clothes like coats and jackets). Taiwanese model KAI wears the clothes in the 2026 FW campaign photos, which were published through the men's fashion magazine GQ.

Key facts about the collection

  • The brand first showed its collection in July 2026 as a pre-collection.
  • Key items include a car coat and a single raglan sleeve long coat made from thick cowhide with an aging (worn-in) finish.
  • The lineup also includes an outdoor-style coverall jacket and a down jacket.
  • The brand has expanded into wool knitwear and shirts.
  • The collection can be bought on KREAM. The campaign photos appear in GQ's Instagram, AKRYL's online mall, and AKRYL's Instagram, and will also run in the December issue of GQ.

Who is behind AKRYL

KREAM is known as a platform for buying and selling limited-edition items. AKRYL is a newer step for the company, because it creates its own clothing. Working with a designer from Japan helps the brand bring a vintage look with a modern feel.

Why this matters

This launch shows that KREAM wants to be more than a marketplace. By making its own clothes and sharing them through a major fashion magazine, it tries to win fans of vintage-style fashion. It also shows how resale companies are moving into making products themselves.

What to watch

  • Whether AKRYL's fall/winter items sell well on KREAM.
  • How the campaign photos spread in GQ's December issue.
  • Whether AKRYL adds more collections after this first main launch.

Affected employees will receive 16 weeks of base pay and healthcare benefits through May 2027. The layoffs come a little over two years after Squarespace launched its Blueprint AI tool, around the time private equity firm Permira closed its acquisition of the company.

Microsoft's Canada timezone troubles leave admins fixing calendars, pretending they're in Bogota

Parts of Canada stopped observing seasonal clock changes on November 1, leaving affected areas of British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba on fixed offsets. Microsoft has confirmed problems across several products, including Outlook calendars that must be manually updated, recurring meetings that need recreating, and Power Automate and Fabric workarounds that temporarily use other time zones such as Saskatchewan, Arizona, or Bogota. Fixes for SharePoint On-Prem and Power Pages are due on November 10 and December 12 respectively, and admins have criticized the late guidance.
