DS&G Earns ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Certifications, Strengthening Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management

Software1 min read

DS&G, a company that provides AI infrastructure, says it has received two international certifications for managing its environment and workplace safety. The certifications are ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

What happened

DS&G announced on the 4th that it has earned ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management) certification. The certification covers its main business: building and producing server hardware, and developing software and building networks. The company says this gives it a base for running environmental and safety management across its whole work process.

What the certifications mean

ISO 14001 is an international standard for finding and reducing a company's impact on the environment, and for improving it over time. ISO 45001 is a standard for finding workplace safety risks early, preventing accidents at work, and creating a safe place to work.

Key facts

  • Two certifications: ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Certified areas: server hardware assembly and production, and software development and network setup
  • DS&G offers GPU servers, storage, networks, and cooling solutions for AI infrastructure

Why it matters

AI systems are getting bigger and more densely packed. That makes quality, safety, and environmental care more important when these systems are built and run. DS&G says the certifications will help it manage these areas more strictly. Its executive director, Seo Young-min, said the company will keep focusing on technology and on responsible business that considers quality, the environment, and safety.

What to watch

  • Whether DS&G expands these management systems to more of its business
  • How the company's AI infrastructure products and services grow in the market
