Xenon Showcases Commercial Physical AI Cases in Care, Manufacturing at Seminar

Robotics1 min read

Xenon, a Korean AI company, held a seminar on physical AI and showed real-world uses in elder care, factories, docent (guide) services, and power plant inspection. The company also talked about its plans for selling these systems.

Xenon shows physical AI uses at a Seoul seminar

Xenon held a 'Physical AI Focus Seminar' on the 29th of last month at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul. About 40 people from major companies attended. The goal was to share results of selling physical AI, not just testing it. Xenon showed cases in senior care, factory work, docent services, and power equipment checks. Physical AI means AI that works in the real world through robots and machines.

Key facts from the seminar

  • About 40 guests from major companies attended.
  • The seminar was held on the 29th of last month at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul.
  • Xenon introduced 'Genfi', a physical AI humanoid robot for daily care.
  • Xenon presented a roadmap for 'Physical AI Ops', a technology that controls different robots and AI models as one system.

Xenon's new AI safety product

Before the seminar, Xenon launched 'Genguard', an AI guardrail product. A guardrail is a set of safety rules that keeps AI in check. Users can set security rules in plain language. The product controls how AI responds and can defend against harmful content, jailbreak attempts (tricks to break an AI's safety limits), and prompt attacks (hidden instructions that try to make AI misbehave).

Why this matters

Many companies have tested physical AI, but fewer have made it work for paying customers. Xenon says it is now building real business cases. If it can connect many robots and AI models into one system, factories and care centers may find it easier to use these tools every day.

What to watch

  • Whether Xenon's care robot Genfi moves from demonstrations into wider sales.
  • How well Physical AI Ops works when it controls different robots and AI models together.
  • Whether customers adopt the Genguard safety product for AI services.

Glossary

Physical AI
AI that works in the real world through robots and machines, not only on screens.

Chinese Humanoid Robot Demand Grows in Education and Enterprise, but Domestic Repair and Software Support Remain Challenges

As Chinese-made humanoid robots expand into South Korea, demand is rising from universities, research institutes, vocational high schools, and general companies for R&D, education, and exhibition use. However, the availability of domestic repair technicians and software technical support is limited, and parallel-imported products may depend on the importer's service capabilities. Industry officials stress that buyers should verify maintenance and software support before purchase, not just the product price.

Vietnamese Engineers Build Robot to Tap Rubber Trees in Place of Workers

Engineer Đỗ Minh Tâm of Đồng Nai has built a rubber-tapping robot that takes over hazardous work from human laborers, with a capacity 1.5 times that of skilled workers. In a trial on 51 trees at the Đồng Nai Rubber Corporation, the robot yielded more than one and a half times the reference output of workers. The machine took four years to develop and is designed to make continuous cuts that human hands cannot achieve consistently.
