What the project is

This is a free collection of ebook download links, gathered from many ebook websites. The creator sorted the books into groups based on common tags, such as literature, history, and business. The collection covers most ebooks from several reading apps, including Fanshu (formerly Fan Dengdu Reading), WeChat Reading, JD Reading, and Ximalaya.

Key facts and numbers

• Each book is offered in three formats: epub, mobi, and azw3.
• The top tag, "Literature", has 2,711 books.
• "History" has 1,748 books and "Popular Science" has 743.
• The list also includes tags like "Python" (28 books) and "Taiwan" (28 books).

How people use it

Users can search the collection on a GitHub Pages website. The site updates results as you type and can match several keywords at once, separated by spaces. Users can also use the browser's Ctrl+F search on the GitHub page, or click a tag to open its list.

Why it matters

The project makes it easier to find many books in one place. It also shows how people share reading lists online. Because the links come from other websites, the story also raises questions about copyright, which means the legal rights of authors and publishers to their work.

What to watch

• Whether the project keeps adding and updating books.
• Whether publishers or app companies ask for the links to be removed.
• How the project's supporters and sponsor list grow over time.
