Shure’s popular podcasting and streaming mic is almost $50 off

Devices1 min read

Shure's MV7 Plus microphone is on sale for $255, almost $50 below its usual price. It is a popular mic for podcasts, streaming, and video calls.

A popular mic is on sale

The Shure MV7 Plus is a USB microphone. It is now $255 at several stores, including Amazon, Guitar Center, and Shure itself. That is about $50 less than its usual price. Amazon and Shure also sell a bundle with a desktop stand for $269.

Key numbers and facts

  • Sale price: $255
  • Usual price: $299, so the discount is about 15%
  • Amazon's all-time low is only a few dollars lower than $255
  • Bundle with a desktop stand: $269
  • The mic has a USB-C port, an LED light panel, and extra features in the Motiv Mix app

What the mic does

The MV7 Plus is an updated version of Shure's popular USB mic. It is known for clear sound. It levels out the volume and cuts background noise on its own, so you do not need to adjust an equalizer. Its shape and sound are based on the Shure SM7B, a pro studio mic, but it costs less and has a simpler setup. It has both an XLR output and USB-C, so you can plug it into an audio interface or straight into a computer.

Why it matters

If you want better sound for online classes, games, or recordings, this is a good time to buy. The price is close to the lowest Amazon has ever offered, so the deal is strong.

What to watch

  • Whether the price stays at $255 or goes lower
  • Whether the bundle with the stand is a better deal for you
  • How long the sale lasts at each store
