[Appointments] EcoPro Announces Regular Executive Personnel List

Mobility1 min read

EcoPro group has announced its regular list of executive promotions. Three people were made vice presidents and eleven were made managing directors across several group companies.

What happened

EcoPro, a Korean battery materials group, released its yearly list of executive promotions. Some people moved up to vice president, and others moved up to a senior executive rank called managing director (sangmu in Korean).

Key numbers

  • 3 people promoted to vice president
  • 11 people promoted to managing director
  • Promotions were spread across 5 EcoPro group companies: EcoPro, EcoPro BM, EcoPro Materials, EcoPro Innovation, EcoPro HN, and EcoPro EM
  • EcoPro BM and EcoPro Materials each had 2 people promoted to vice president or managing director, and EcoPro had 6 managing director promotions

Why it matters

Promotion lists show which people a company trusts with more power and responsibility. For people outside the company, this list shows who now leads key parts of the EcoPro group. It is a routine yearly event, so it is not a sign of a big change by itself.

Can the upgraded Li Auto i6 hold its ground in China’s crowded electric SUV market?

Li Auto launched the 2026 i6, its first annual update, starting at RMB 249,800 ($37,500) and focusing on battery, cockpit, driver-assistance and comfort upgrades rather than price cuts. The rear-wheel-drive version's CLTC range rises from 720 km to 780 km, and a pre-launch test on Taihu Lake recorded 811.4 km, though the test covered mainly urban roads, not highways or low temperatures. Analysts note that its success will depend on order conversion, actual transaction prices, deliveries and customer feedback.
